Jo Ann Miller, age 77 years old of Mt. Orab, Ohio, formally of West Union, Ohio passed away Thursday May 23, 2024 at Bethesda North Hospital. Jo Ann was born on May 25, 1946 in West Union to the late Anna Ruth (DeMint) Miller and John H. Miller.
Jo Ann lived 72 years in West Union primarily in the old two story on the corner of North 2nd Street. Then as her health progressively got worse, she moved to Mt. Orab to live with her sister & brother-in-law: Mark & Joy Miller-Fite. Jo Ann started her working career at the U.S. Shoe Factory located where the West Union Library is now and several factories in Maysville, KY. Twenty-six years working for U.S. Shoe in Ripley and Flemingsburg, KY. Then finally retiring from job at Techno Trim in Maysville, KY. For eleven years Jo had primary care of her mother before her passing in 2008. Even the last 5 years Jo Ann still considered West Union home.
