Robert Paul Applegate, age 83 years, of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024. He was born January 15, 1941 in Tollesboro, KY to the late Charles L. & Gertrude (Rouse) Applegate. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Jane (McAdow) Applegate.
Mr. Applegate was a pharmacist at Blakes Pharmacy for 55 years; a dual member of West Union Lodge #43 & Manchester Lodge #317; Past Master of West Union Lodge #43 & a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Cincinnati.
Survivors include his daughter Jill Applegate of West Union; sister Cecilia Knox of Dayton; brother Freddie Applegate & Brenda of Xenia; niece Cindy Mays; nephews Greg Knox & Brian Applegate; special friend Randy Mack of West Union.
Masonic & Scottish Rites services by Randy Mack, with funeral to follow will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery
