Gaylen Roades, age 74, of Winchester, OH, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1949 in Wilmington, OH, to the late Gilbert and Hattie (Taylor) Roades. He was a carpenter and a member of the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union. He attended school at Lynchburg.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, David, Richard and Larry Roades.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn Roades of Winchester; sons, Michael Roades and wife Susan of Winchester, Mathew Roades and wife Jennifer of Sardinia; brothers, Kenneth Roades and wife Susan of Winchester, Darrell Roades and wife Shirley of Hillsboro, Dale Roades and wife Annetta of Marshall; sisters, Noreen Bodnarik of Placida, FL, Kathy Bash and husband Jan of Pricetown, OH; sister-in-law, Patty Roades of Hillsboro; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
