Charles Phillip Powers, 78, of Markle, IN, passed away, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born September 3, 1946 in Williamsburg, KY, son of the late Enos and Lavada Curnett Powers. He was the widower of the late Joyce Back Powers, who passed away in 2021. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Ronnie Powers.
Charles loved to camp and fish.
He is survived by his daughters, Lorrie (Randy) Wiggins and Tonia Powers; grandchildren, Matthew Barrett, Jordan Barrett, Charlie Sue (Dustin) Cooper, Devin (Brenton) Miller and Alexis Evans; great-grandchildren, Dean and Maximus and his sister, Margrey Back.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union. Burial will follow at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek.
